Ski touring and creative long weekend in the Pyrenees
This winter, we invite you to the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees for a long weekend dedicated to movement, creativity, and connection, just 1 hour and 40 minutes away from Barcelona.
From February 19th to 22nd, you’ll experience the magic of ski touring: moving through snowy landscapes at a slower pace, learning essential techniques, and exploring off-piste terrain with experienced guides.
This adventure is designed for intermediate alpine skiers who want to initiate or deepen their ski touring journey. Over two guided days, you’ll learn the foundations of ski touring, from using skins and managing transitions to understanding safety in the mountains, all while soaking in breathtaking views of the Catalan and French Pyrenees.
To balance the physical intensity of the mountains, we’ll slow things down with gentle yoga and an ice bath session to help your body recover and reset. Adding a creative touch, Elena from basta. will host a silver workshop where you’ll design and craft your own personalized charm, a tangible memory to take home with you.

Two guided ski touring routes designed for beginner to intermediate ski tourers with a solid alpine skiing background. You’ll explore stunning terrain in the Catalan and French Pyrenees while learning the fundamentals of ski touring: using skins, managing ascents and descents, off-piste technique, and essential snow safety. Each ski day ends back at Casa Suri, where we’ll finish with an ice bath session to relax muscles and work with breath after time in the cold, as well as a yoga session with Julia to slow down.

The closest town to Casa Suri is Puigcerdà (you can get there by train from Barcelona). Nestled high in the Pyrenees, it offers stunning mountain views, a picturesque lake, and a unique blend of French and Spanish culture. It’s the perfect base for exploring the surrounding nature and alpine landscapes.

In the heart of winter, food becomes a source of warmth and comfort. Our meals in Cerdanya will be simple, nourishing, and full of local flavor, seasonal vegetables, hearty dishes to end cold days outside, and packed lunches to take with us into the mountains.
Meals are shared moments: a time to slow down, reconnect, and exchange stories after full days in nature. From Thursday dinner to Sunday lunch, everything is taken care of so you can fully enjoy the experience.
