Arctic ski touring expedition at Trevare Fabrikken
In April, we head far north, beyond the Arctic Circle, to explore one of the most breathtaking ski touring destinations in the world: Lofoten.
From April 16th to 20th, we’ll be based at Trevare Fabrikken, an iconic hotel set right by the ocean in the heart of Henningsvær. Surrounded by dramatic peaks rising straight from the sea, this expedition blends powerful mountain days with deep recovery, warmth, and connection.
Over three days, we’ll ski tour with experienced local guides who will design each route based on the group’s level and the conditions of the day. Expect steep lines, wild scenery, and the unique magic of skiing in the Arctic where mountains, ocean, and light come together in unforgettable ways.

activities
guided ski touring
Three days of guided ski touring led by local guides who know Lofoten’s terrain intimately. Routes will be adapted to the group’s level and conditions, focusing on steep, rewarding lines and safe movement through Arctic mountain environments. This is a demanding but incredibly rewarding ski touring experience.
sauna, cold plunge & yoga
To support recovery after long ski days, we’ll enjoy daily sauna sessions at Trevare Fabrikken, with the option to take a cold plunge right outside, a true Arctic ritual. On the evening of our arrival, we’ll gather for a yoga session to stretch, ground, and prepare our bodies for the days ahead.

Trevare Fabrikken
Trevare Fabrikken is an iconic hotel located right by the ocean in Henningsvær, at the heart of some of the most legendary ski touring routes in Lofoten.
Once a fish factory, it’s now a vibrant cultural hub known for its design, sauna, and lively atmosphere. We’ll be staying in their cozy rooms, with different accommodation options available: a shared dorm for 6 people (included), a Big Loft for 4 people (available as an upgrade), or a more intimate Cod Room for 2 people (also available as an upgrade).

Lofoten is a dream destination year-round, but spring in the Arctic holds something truly special. Snow-covered peaks rise straight from the sea, light stretches long into the evening, and the landscape feels both powerful and serene. It’s a place we deeply love, and one that leaves a lasting impression on everyone who visits.

All meals are included and enjoyed at Trevare Fabrikken, where we’ll be served nourishing, delicious food to support long days in the mountains. During ski touring days, we’ll take packed lunches with us on the routes. Meals are shared moments, a time to refuel, connect, and rest after full days outside.

You should feel confident skiing off-piste, enjoy steep terrain, and be comfortable with consecutive days of ski touring. If you’re drawn to powerful landscapes, deep recovery rituals, and shared experiences in remote places, Lofoten will meet you there.
